In this series of photographs illustrating the Bachelor graduation collection of my friend Carl Omnes, I found myself confronted with a constraint:
the very one he gave as a title to his collection, “Et le temps passe” (“And time goes by”). And indeed, with time, truths reveal themselves.
How, then, can one preserve the trace of a collective effort when, through the fault of one man, it is meant to remain hidden?
So here is an attempt: to blur, to distort identity, to give no names, and perhaps then we may still look, still appreciate, without granting credit to the one who destroyed.
